This Is Not a Government or Law Enforcement Office. We run a private reference site. We cannot confirm whether a warrant exists, recall or clear a warrant, post bond, arrange a surrender, or give legal advice for anyone. For any of those, you need to reach the sheriff's warrant unit or the issuing court directly.
Need Official Warrant Information?
Choose the Shelby County office that holds the record or controls the court action:
- County warrant status: use the SCSO Warrant Information System, then call the Fugitive Bureau to verify a match.
- General Sessions missed date: call the Criminal Clerk at 901-222-3500, 201 Poplar Avenue, LL-81. Public-record requests use 901-222-3585 or gspublicrecords@shelbycountytn.gov.
- Felony or indicted case: contact the Criminal Court Clerk at 901-222-3200. The county Criminal Court page lists Suite 3034; another directory gives Suite 401, so call before visiting.
- Memphis ticket or city court file: contact City Court Clerk/TVB at 901-636-3400, 201 Poplar Avenue, LL-80. Other cities have separate municipal clerks.
- Recall, surrender, or bond: consult a licensed Tennessee attorney and the issuing court. The Sheriff’s Fugitive Bureau cannot make a judicial recall decision.
For SCSO warrant questions, contact the Fugitive Division / Warrant Room, Shelby County Sheriff’s Office, 201 Poplar Avenue, 9th Floor, Memphis, TN 38103, at 901-222-5620. For an own-name portal match or discrepancy, the portal gives 901-222-5627 and fugitiveFATTeam@shelby-sheriff.org. Confirm the route before traveling.
